Ryan Hunter is a partner at Chitiz Pathak LLP and is in their business law group. His practice focuses on the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and private equity and venture capital financings in various industries. Ryan’s practice also includes advising public and private company clients on ongoing securities and corporate law requirements.
Prior to joining Chitiz Pathak LLP, Ryan worked as an associate in both the Calgary and Toronto offices of a national law firm.
Ryan received his BA (Hons.) from the University of Guelph in 1996, his LLB from Queens University in 2000 and has subsequently completed the Canadian Securities Course. Ryan was called to the Alberta Bar in 2002 and the Ontario Bar in 2004.

She has extensive experience assisting families with disabled loved ones with their estate planning, litigation regarding mental capacity issues, and guardianship and ODSP advice. She also has significant experience representing persons whose capacity is being questioned by others, whether they are involved in litigation, doing their own estate planning, or need advice about ODSP legal issues.

Carolyn graduated from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University in 2003 with a B.Comm. in Marketing. Then, she got her LL.L. (Civil Law) in 2007 and her LL.B. (Common Law) in 2008 from the National Program at the University of Ottawa. She also graduated from Osgoode Hall, York University in 2012 with an LL.M. in Family Law. She goes the “extra mile” by analyzing the financial data to strengthen her clients’ cases with the goal of assisting her clients in not only reaching financial settlements but in reaching financial settlements that consider both the short-term and long-term financial impact.

In this episode, Jasmine Daya sits down with Jonathan Rosenthal who is a Toronto-based criminal defence attorney. His practice focuses on white-collar matters and regulatory offences. He has appeared at every level of court in Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with his LLB in 1987. He is an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode, where he is both Co-Director of the Trial Advocacy Program and the Intensive Program In Criminal Law. He is also a Team Leader of the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop (ITAW), an annual course offered to practicing lawyers by Osgoode Professional Development.
