Season 5 Episode 2: Reflecting on Co-op Experience and Future Plans - Kevin

Kevin was a co-op student at the firm while he was in grade 11 at Earl Haig Secondary School. He added a breath of energy to the office environment that we all appreciated and loved.  Kevin gained valuable skills from working in an office environment that most high school students will never have the opportunity to acquire.  During his term, he learned the basics, such as scanning documents, filing, photocopying and operating the reception phone. He also had an opportunity to draft letters, communicate with clients, work with associates and legal staff, observe a mediation, review transcripts from Examinations for Discovery and summarize documents. Whether Kevin pursues a career in law or not, he gained invaluable experience that we believe will assist him on whatever path he takes.
